Three generations tied to the sea, to the earth and the art of cameo: Luca's family in 1957 realizes the most beautiful dream of Michele di Luca senior, bringing the beauty of the cameo on shell to the international scene. In a few years the brand conquers the international market , priding itself in having the most talented master engravers at its side.
Years of success follow, with prizes and awards from the Chamber of Commerce of Naples and a gold medal for contributing to the economic development of the region. The love for the cameo is tangible, you can breathe it in the family and the children Gino, Anna, Pina and Marinella enter the company in 1980.
In 2012 Cameo Italiano is born to bring Italian craftsmanship and the art of the cameo all over the world: a timeless jewel, a piece of history, art and Italian culture, but above all the pride of the family company.
The company has its roots in history, and from history comes the ambitious project of bringing the cameo out of the conventional setting, putting traditional techniques at the service of innovation; an accessible luxury characterized by rigorous attention to the choice of materials and to the realization with over 50 years of experience in the craftsmanship of corals and cameos.
Particular attention is devoted to design and stylistic research, attention to detail and to the choice of materials. Tradition at the service of continuous and constant innovation moves the stylistic research of design without sacrificing the art of family tradition and techniques handed down from generation to generation.
Due to high demand the company has designed of an 18-carat gold line featuring cameos from the Romantic, Classical, Musical and Ballet lines in limited editions for the European, Asian and American markets.
